Zusammenfassung:The main results of the scientific work “Priorities of structure transformation of power generation of Ukraine (UPS) for joining with EU power system” which was conducted by the Institute of General Energy of NASU in the frame of targeted program of scientific researches of NASU “Scientific, technical and economic problems of joint work of Ukraine UPS and of united power system of European countries (“Interconnection”)” are generalized in this paper. Three main priorities of Power Complex development in Ukraine are determined taking into account the declared politics on joining of Ukraine UPS for the parallel work with EU power systems, i.e. economically reasonable minimal price of electricity for consumers; increase of shunting opportunities of UPS and problem-solving of ecology for heat energetics. The main results of analysis of two alternative strategies of UPS development (economically reasonable (ERS), which is mainly in line with Energy Strategy of Ukraine up to 2030 (approved in 2006), and strategy of advanced development of renewable sources (RS) (SAD_RS), which is actually implemented now after introducing significant incentives to RS in Ukraine are presented. It is shown that from the ecological and economic point of view realization of SAD_RS is considerably a worst decision, than realization of ERS. There are important risks for further advanced development of RS in the national circumstances – decrease of reliability of power supply, skyrocketing prices of electricity, the outflow of currency from the country etc.
