Summary:A mathematical optimization model of the development of the national nuclear power industry is proposed, which is able to take into account the growing variety of available nuclear power generation technologies, as well as the growing uncertainty of the future conditions of its operation, in particular, the term of continued operation of existing NPP power units, which is modeled by a corresponding stochastic variable. In contrast to mathematical models built using simulation methods, which is typical for conducting research on the development of nuclear power as the most conservative branch of electric power, and capable of modeling disturbances of external factors to a very limited extent, which makes it possible to calculate a limited number of development trajectories, the proposed mathematical model and the algorithm for its implementation is capable of simulating an almost unlimited number of external disturbances, in particular, using stochastic variables.
