Резюме:Intense implementation of wind power plants (WPP) into contemporary power systems structure, accompanied by related problems, caused by precarious nature of wind turbines outputting to power networks, leads to the necessity of mathematical modeling of corresponding generation and automatic frequency control processes. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop a mathematical wind speed model.The results of in-situ wind speed measurements in the form of an array containing 8955 points with the 2 sec. step (the time interval of approximately 5 hours) were used as initial data for constructing of such models. The in-situ wind speed data contain areas, where the wind acceleration module approxomates to 9%/sec. The discrete Fourier transform with 2 sec. step and medium values of derivatives (up to 2-2,5% per sec.) was used for the approximation. It’s accuracy is sufficient to be used in generalized automatic frequency and power control models. The wind speed range contains 4477 harmonics and is restricted by the total number of points in the array. The highest harmonic has a period of 4 seconds.The wind speed model can be used in the study of the aftermath of the WPP implementation into the structure of the Ukrainian energy system.
