Резюме:General methodological principles of product and energy balances were considered using the Eurostat and IEA recommended formats. As an example, the overall energy balance for 2010 was formed and analyzed by indices of particular fuels and energies throughout their passage chain - from production (generation) to conversion to final consumption. According to the reported energy balance for 2010, at the gross consumption level of 173,155.8 thousand tons, 88353.7 thousand tons of standard fuel reach the conversion (51.0% of gross consumption), while other fuels in the amount of 35,809.1 tons of standard fuel, electricity - 29737.5 thousand tons of standard fuel (86426.7 million kWh) and heat in the amount of 22807.1 thousand tons of standard fuel (153,479.8 thousand Gcal) come after the conversion. Under "The power sector consumption" section the power loss made 13,627.1 thousand tons of standard fuel. Under the "Transportation and distribution expenses" and the "Consumption for non-energy purposes" sections the power loss reached 14119.8 and 8723.4 thousand tons of standard fuel respectively. Under the “Final consumpion” section power loss made 136121,8 thousand tons of standard fuel. The supporting mathimatical algorythms were elaborated to carry out the final operations in terms of sections and articles of the balance.
