Резюме:The most efficient way of the use of thermal secondary energy resources, being formed in various thermal facilities working on natural gas, is connected with the method of thermochemical recuperation, based on the reactions of fuel reforming with exhaust gases (EG). The aim of this work is to develop a scheme of using thermochemical recuperation for a reciprocating internal combustion engine, working with a certain air excess, and a method of its thermodynamic calculation. Since the presence of oxygen in the reagent of fuel reforming decreases substantially its parameters, we propose a way of oxygen removal from that part of EG which serves as the reagent of reforming. The scheme consists of a heat exchanger for using the sensible heat of reformed fuel (RF), a combustion chamber where a certain part of RF is burnt in oxygen of the corresponding part of EG, and two parallel thermochemical reactors. We also give some examples of calculation of the scheme mentioned above, which show that its use enables one to economize up to 12.2 % of primary fuel. For comparison, we calculate the simplest scheme where the reagent of fuel reforming contains oxygen. In this case, the fuel economy is by 4.3 – 6.8 % lower.
