System Research in Energy| Zusammenfassung: | Volumes and implementation rates of electrical and heat power generation technologies utilizing fuel elements, which can be observed during the last decade, calls forth need of estimate of their competitiveness relative to major classes of traditional power generation technologies, which is a prerequisite for their further commercial use in the national power systems.The main technical and economy parameters of fuel cells power generation utilization in the framework of their well-refined layout schedule are presented, which is used for commercialization in the present time.A mathematical model of calculations performance for estimate of cost, selling tariffs and competitiveness regarding traditional electric and heat power generation technologies, for a technology plant utilizing molten-carbonate fuel cells, is presented.The results obtained permit to draw a conclusion about competitiveness of MCFC-technology plants already at current technology development stage. |
