System Research in Energy| Резюме: | According to the data of 2008-2014 electricity generation by power-generating plants of Ukraine 2014 decreased by 2.5% as of July compared to the corresponding period in 2013. The use of coal as a fuel increased from 31.3% in 1991 to 83.5% in 2014. In the structure of energy resources use of natural gas decreased from 50% in 1991 to 16% in 2014. Peak power of Hydro Power Plant (HPP) and Pumped Storage Plant (PSP) are only 10% in comparison to 15% required for stable operation of the power system. The power-generating units of flexible intermediate power of TPP 100-150 MW make 18% versus 30-35% of required percentage. There are no average reduction of specific fuel consumption at the rebuilt units compared with the rest of the units at the same TPPs was only 12.6 g equivalent fuel/(kW a year), apparent dependency of specific fuel consumption decrease on rebuild cost. A significant reduction of pollutant emissions by implementing new technologies in fume gas purification will improve the environmental situation. One of the promising types of modernization is steam-gas technology in the electric power industry. |
