To remove this contradiction, we have developed a concept of safety management, based on deterministic analysis. It involves the measurement of safety margins and their comparison with the deterministic safety criteria for substantiated decision making. This methodology is recommended for the nuclear regulation and NPP designing and operation. На сьогодні існує тільки один підхід прийняття рішень з безпеки АЕС, що базується на імовірнісній оцінки. Тем не меньше, безпека АЕС як і раніше обґрунтовується детерміністично. Для усунення даного протиріччя розроблена концепція управління безпекою на підставі детерміністичного аналізу, для чого вимірюються запаси безпеки, які зіставляються з детерміністичними критеріями безпеки для прийняття обґрунтованого рішення. Методологія рекомендується для застосування в регулюючої діяльності, при проектуванні і експлуатації АЕС.
