System Research in Energy| Резюме: | We analyze the development of nuclear power engineering in the world and the influence on it of large-scale accidents at nuclear power plants, including the Japanese plant "Fukushima-1". We highlight the priority properties of reactors in the designing of high-security nuclear power plants in leading countries of the world. Results of statistical studies of the age of operating power units are given. The current trend of development of nuclear power engineering in different countries of the world and price component of the global energy market are shown. We emphasize the necessity to improve the safety of nuclear power plants. The innovative technologies of reactors of the III generation are indicated. It is noted that nuclear power engineering is the most important component of the world energy balance, and now there are no serious alternatives to it. |
