Запропоновано метод агрегування таблиць статистичної звітності «витрати-випуск» (матриця проміжного споживання, вектори кінцевого споживання, випуску товарів та послуг, валового внутрішнього продукту (доданої вартості), загальних витрат) з метою зменшення їх розмірності до величин, необхідних при виконанні досліджень із середньо- та довгострокового прогнозування. Метод не накладає обмежень на предметну сутність таблиць і забезпечує їх перетворення без втрати точності. При формуванні агрегованих математичних моделей міжгалузевого балансу потрібно спочатку агрегувати матрицю проміжного споживання у вартісній формі, після чого здійснити її перетворення в безрозмірну матрицю прямих витрат шляхом відповідного нормування з подальшими відомими операціями.
