Taking into account the world practice of conducting accompanying research of the marine and river environment, Ukrainian specialists and scientists in the field of hydrography and oceanography carried out a number of joint complex scientific research cruises in the waters of the Azov-Black Sea basin and on the inland waterways of Ukraine in 2018-2019. The main goal of these research expeditions was to improve the level of navigational and hydrographic support for the safety of sea and river navigation. Найважливішою складовою розвитку науково-технічного потенціалу морегосподарськогокомплексу і безпеки держави є інструментальне вивчення морського середовища, яке є неможливимбез експедиційних досліджень. З урахуванням світової практики проведення супутніх дослідженьморського та річкового середовища українські фахівці та науковці у сфері гідрографії та океанографіїу 2018-2019 рр. здійснили ряд спільних комплексних науково-дослідних експедицій в акваторіяхАзово-Чорноморського басейну та на внутрішніх водних шляхах України. Головною метою цихнауково-дослідних експедицій було підвищення рівня навігаційно-гідрографічного забезпеченнябезпеки морського та річкового судноплавства. Також у статті досліджено питання розробки проєктуміжвідомчої науково-технічної програми у сфері океанографічного та гідрографічного вивченняморського (річкового) середовища.
