A novel technique is suggested to decreasethis effect on the results of recovering the characteristics ofionospheric scintillations from data of DCS observations byimaging HF riometers. The method is based on cross-correlationprocessing of outputs from the riometer adjacent beams. Theoperability and efficiency of the suggested technique are illustratedby the results of in-situ measurements made using the64-beam riometer located near the Gakona Village (Alaska, USA). |
