Theparameters controlling the field distribution are the depthsof the grooves and widths of the lamellas of a reflection gratingscattering the surface wave of a planar dielectric waveguide.The proposed method uses the energy characteristics of anisolated groove to obtain good initial approximation. An exampleof optimization of the cosine on-a-pedestal field distributionis given. Предложен алгоритм оптимизации заданного распределения поля на апертуре антенны вытекающих волн. Варьируемыми параметрами, управляющими распределением поля, являются глубины канавок и ширины ламелей отражательной решетки, рассеивающей поверхностную волну планарного диэлектрического волновода. Предложенный метод использует информацию об энергетических характеристиках изолированной канавки для получения начального приближения. Приве-ден пример оптимизации распределения поля типа “косинус на пьедестале”.
