Using the uniform geometric diffraction theory method, the 3-D diffraction of the vertical halfwave dipole placed on a perfectly conducting plane with a thin rectangular salient screen has been solved asymptotically. Through the authors’ algorithm, the isoamplitude lines of the field orthogonal components were calculated, as well as the field pattern was analyzed for the whole space observed. The antenna gain towards the normal to salient screen and the screen shadow factor were calculated and analyzed vs. screen sizes and its distance to the dipole. It is found that the dipole gain depends more on the screen height, while the shadow factor does more on its width. На основе метода равномерной геометрической теории дифракции получено асимптотическое решение трехмерной задачи дифракции излучения полуволнового вертикального вибратора, расположенного на идеально проводящей плоскости с тонким выступом в виде экрана прямоугольной формы. По разработанному алгоритму рассчитаны линии равных амплитуд ортогональных компонент поля и проведен анализ распределения поля во всем пространстве наблюдения. Рассчитаны и проанализированы зависимости коэффициента направленного действия антенны в направлении нормали к экрану, коэффициента затеняющего действия экрана от его размеров и расстояния между ним и вибратором. Обнаружено, что на коэффициент направленного действия антенны в большей мере влияет высота выступа, а на коэффициент затеняющего действия – его ширина.
