Выполнены расчеты, позволяющие оценить влияние эффектов многократного рассеяния на результаты радарной диагностики удаленных районов протяженных случайных сред (верхняя ионосфера, магнитосфера, ближний космос). Установлено, что указанные эффекты приводят к расширению диаграммы и уменьшению эффективного поперечника рассеяния случайной среды по сравнению с соответствующими значениями, рассчитанными в приближении однократного рассеяния. Показано, что пренебрежение такими эффектами ведет к занижению экспериментальных оценок степени анизотропии и интенсивности плазменных флуктуаций, определяемых из решения обратной задачи.
