It is offered to minimize expenses of fuel gas in compressor shop, analyzing the dependences of expenses of fuel gas constructed for everyone unit on the volumetric charge. Such approach enables to reduce the optimization problem of compressor shop modes of operation to a problem of linear programming with Boolean variables. Описано нову постановку задачі оптимізації режиму роботи компресорного цеху магістрального газопроводу. Запропоновано мінімізувати споживання паливного газу компресорним цехом за допомоги аналізу побудованої для кожного працездатного агрегату залежності витрат паливного газу від кількості пропомпованого газу. Такий підхід дає можливість звести задачу оптимізації роботи компресорного цеху до задачі лінійного програмування з булевими змінними.
