Розглянуто питання недоцільності застосування в ОЕС України традиційних методів регулювання частоти, а також проекту щодо встановлення вставок постійного струму ВПС при вирішенні питання об’єднання енергосистем ОЕС України з UCTE. Запропоновано вирішити це питання на основі застосування нового нетрадиційного способу забезпечення стабільності частоти в енергосистемі. При цьому проведено ряд досліджень, направлених на вирішення цього питання.
