Zusammenfassung:Natural fluctuations in wind and solar energy are a barrier to the reliability of electrical grids that include renewable energy systems. To ensure the stable generation of energy systems using renewable sources, which are associated with fluctuations in the volume of electricity production, technologies are employed to compensate for such instability. The article provides brief information on mechanical, electromagnetic, electrochemical, and thermal methods of energy storage. An analytical review of various methods of accumulating electrical and thermal energy has been carried out, and it has been noted that the most advanced energy storage technology is pumped storage power stations. Supercapacitor energy storage devices have great potential. An overview and comparison of battery-based energy storage devices is provided. Some features of thermal energy storage devices are shown. Examples of the effective practical use of electricity storage devices are given. It has been noted that the relevant structures of the European Union are paying great attention to the creation of effective energy storage systems for renewable sources. The feasibility of combining thermal energy storage batteries and renewable energy sources in post-war building heating systems has been demonstrated. It is noted that the condition of heating networks is of great importance for a reliable heat supply. This problem is exacerbated in the post-war period due to damage to water and heat supply systems, such as CHPs, pumping stations, and boiler rooms, which provide pressure in pipelines. Prompt repair of pipelines plays a significant role in heating systems. The article is defined an importance of control and diagnostic systems in ensuring a reliable energy supply of both primary and auxiliary energy equipment, pipelines, renewable energy system components, and energy storage diagnostic systems for reliable power consumption. A review of existing systems for diagnosing the technical condition of renewable energy systems has been conducted, and the feasibility of their use in the post-war period has been demonstrated.
