The priority of a local and different Regional SC as original mapped subdivisions before universal but artificial subdivisions of the IСС is maintained (substantiated). The sequence of the so called “Golden Spices” is regarded as new Time Coordinate System for stratigraphy with a correlation function only. The regularity in promotion (rise) in the course of time of a range of early established subdivisions is revealed.   Наведені результати аналізу еволюції теоретичних основ побудови регіональних та Міжнародної стратиграфічної шкали (МСШ), починаючи від Єдиної стратиграфічної шкали (ЄСШ), якою користувалися у колишньому Радянському Союзі, до основ сучасної Міжнародної хроностратиграфічної шкали (МХШ). Доведено пріоритет при геологічному картуванні підрозділів місцевих та регіональних стратиграфічних шкал у порівнянні з універсальними, але штучними підрозділами МХШ. Послідовність так званих «Золотих цвяхів» розглянута як нова Система часових координат, що має у стратиграфії лише кореляційні функції.
