Description
Summary:Depending on the size of the pores of the rock can change its properties from the collector to the fluid trap. Unlike massively determined porosity, pore sizes are rarely determined, which leads to a shortage of information of this kind. In this paper, based on the processing of a large amount of available factual material of the study of the structure of the pore space by semipermeable membrane and centrifugation, an attempt is made to estimate the possible range of pore sizes of the sand collectors of the South-Eastern part of the DDV, to establish a relationship of pore size with age, depth, size of rock-forming grains and permeability of the reservoir. The results of the work will allow in many cases to explain the structural features of the fields of permeability associated with high values of permeability with a relatively small porosity. The absence of a significant reduction in the diameter of the pore channels in the transition to the deep ancient rocks will have a positive impact on the forecast of gas content of great depths. These and other results of the work can be used in the course of solving the issues of exploration and production of hydrocarbons, the forecast of oil and gas potential of great depths and other parties of the oil and gas business.
