Among Ichthyosauria fossils found are some fragments of skeletons, separate findings of skull fragments preserved to various extent, vertebrae and teeth which findings are known in Greenland, southwest of Great Britain, Parisian basin, Northern Apennines (Italy), Annopole (Poland) and Volga region (Russia). The findings of ichthyosauria teeth and vertebrae (Kaniv, Malyn, Transnistria) make it possible to fill the gap (region) between Western Europe and eastern area of the East European platform. Fossils of the latest and youngest in age ichthyosaurus (Platypterygius sp. and Platypterygius? sp.) found in Ukraine are presented by phosphatized vertebrae and teeth preserved to different extent. Ichthyosauria fossils are sampled from glauconite quartz sands of Albian and Cenomanian (Kaniv, Middle Transnistria) and basal depositions of sedimentary cover (Malyn). Lithological and stratigraphic characteristics of ichthyosauria teeth locallities of Cretaceous depositions in Ukraine are discussed. Упродовж ранньої та пізньої епох крейдового періоду в басейнах і затоках тепловодних мілких епіконтинентальних морів розчленованого північного узбережжя Мезотетісу існував різноманітний комплекс великих плазунів-хижаків класу Reptilia підкласу Ichthyopterygia та ряду Ichthyosauria. Знайдені рештки іхтіозаврів представлені невеликою кількістю фрагментів викопних кістяків, розрізненими знахідками уламків черепів різного ступеня збереження, хребцями й зубами, які відомі в Гренландії, на південному заході Великої Британії, у межах Паризького басейну, у Північних Аппенінах (Італія), в Аннополі (Польща) та на Поволжі (Росія). Дослідження, які ми провели, дали змогу заповнити знахідками зубів і хребців іхтіозаврів (Канів, Малин, Наддністрянщина) район між Західною Європою та східною частиною Східноєвропейської платформи. У межах України викопні рештки останнього і наймолодшого з іхтіозаврів Platypterygius sp. та Platypterygius? sp. представлені фосфатизованими хребцями й зубами різного ступеня збереження. Викопні рештки іхтіозаврів були відібрані з глауконітово-кварцових пісків альбського й сеноманського ярусів (Канів, Надністрянщина) та з базальних відкладів осадового чохла (Малин). Наведено літолого-стратиграфічні характеристики місцезнаходжень зубів іхтіозаврів у крейдових відкладах України.
