Викладено історію вивчення відкладів ордовику Придністров'я. Наведено детальні описи стратотипів гораївської і субіцької світ, описаний неостратотип суіцької світи. Проаналізовано комплекси викопної фауни даних світ, уточнено їх вік і проведена кореляція з одновіковими відкладами суміжних регіонів.
