Summary: The last stage of the geological history of Ukraine – the Holocene that embraces a chronological interval – 10-11 thousand years, characterized by considerable changes in the environment: frequent periods of warming and cooling, changes in humidity. A modern zonality that changed the monotonous zone of periglacial vegetation of Neopleistocene was formed in Holocene. The new structure of natural landscapes was formed and character of human economic activity changed.
