A modern zonality that changed the monotonous zone of periglacial vegetation of Neopleistocene was formed in Holocene. The new structure of natural landscapes was formed and character of human economic activity changed.   Останній етап розвитку геологічної історії України - голоцен, який охоплює хронологічний інтервал 10-11 тис. років, характеризується значними змінами природного середовища: багаторазовими періодами потепління і похолодання, змінами режиму вологості. В голоцені сформувалася сучасна зональність, яка змінила одноманітну зону перигляциальної рослинності неоплейстоцену.
