This zone is presented the most fully in Oxfordian – Tithonian sections of North Caucasus and Ukrainian Precarpathian. It is proposed to divide this zone into four subzone. Intervals of subzones made more exact by the correlation with the magnetostratigraphic data in Western Carpathians and the modern international stratigraphic scale. Supporting section of zone in territory of Ukrainian Carpathian foredeep has been characterized.    Наводиться детальна характеристика зони Chitinoidella верхньої юри у регіонах Тетичної провінції. У найбільш повному обсязі ця зона виявлена в розрізах оксфорду – титону Північного Кавказу та Українського Передкарпаття. Пропонується поділити зону на чотири підзони, вік яких уточнено за кореляцією з сучасною Міжнародною шкалою і з даними магнітостратиграфії.
