Аналіз динаміки ландшафтно-кліматичних умов пізнього неоплейстоцену дозволяє стверджувати, що цей часовий інтервал (150-10 тис. років) являє собою останній єдиний міжльодовиково-льодовиковий макроцикл плейстоцену. Проблема вивчення закономірностей циклічних коливань клімату набуває важливого значення для аналізу еволюпії сучасних природних умов.
