| description | Estimations of couplings of winter temperature in the Antarctic Peninsula region with tropical temperature anomalies indicate long term changes in the intensity of tropical influences. These changes are associated with the stability of the meridional wavetrain of stationary planetary waves, along which tropical disturbances in the Pacific Ocean sector propagate, affecting the climate of the Antarctic Peninsula. The period of the most significant tropical effects is the 1980s and the 1990s, and, at that time, the most rapid winter warming at Faraday/Vernadsky station was observed. One of the components of the winter temperature change on the peninsula is a 16year periodicity with amplitude of about 1oС that also contributes to regional climate change. |

Оценки связей зимней температуры в районе Антарктического полуострова с тропическими температурными аномалиями свидетельствуют о долговременных изменениях в интенсивности тропических влияний. Эти изменения связаны с устойчивостью меридиональной цепочки стационарных планетарных волн, вдоль которой распространяются тропические возмущения в секторе Тихого океана, воздействуя на климат Антарктического полуострова. Период наиболее ощутимых тропических эффектов приходится на 1980е–1990е годы, и в это время наблюдались наиболее быстрые темпы зимнего потепления на станции Фарадей/Вернадский. Одна из составляющих изменений зимней температуры на полуострове — 16летняя периодичность с амплитудой около 1oС — также дает вклад в региональные изменения климата. Оцінки зв’язків зимової температури в районі Антарктичного півострова з тропічними температурними аномаліями свідчать про довготривалі зміни в інтенсивності тропічних впливів. Ці зміни пов’язані зі стійкістю меридіонального ланцюга стаціонарних планетарних хвиль, вздовж якого розповсюджуються тропічні збурення в секторі Тихого океану, впливаючи на клімат Антарктичного півострова. Період найбільш відчутних тропічних ефектів припадає на 1980і–1990і роки, і в цей час спостерігалися найбільш швидкі темпи зимового потепління на станції Фарадей/Вернадський. Одна із складових змін зимової температури на півострові — 16річна періодичність з амплітудою близько 1oС — також дає внесок у регіональні зміни клімату.
