It is emphasized that UJRS is currently the only specialized scientific journal in Ukraine fully devoted to covering new science and practice in remote sensing of the Earth. UJRS is included in several aggregators of academic texts and indexing by Index Copernicus International and Google Scholar. The editorial board consists of scientists of the highest qualifications who are recognized experts in their research field. More than a third of the editorial board are scientists from foreign scientific institutions and universities. Every year, 25-30 doctors and candidates of sciences take an active part in reviewing articles. The editor board's monitoring shows that during the journal's ten years of existence, three authors obtained the degree of Doctor of Sciences, 20 authors defended their candidate theses, six authors received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, and nine were awarded scientific titles. These data confirm that UJRS is a reliable platform for disseminating research results. This number, the fortieth, is an anniversary edition. We invite specialists in remote sensing and data processing to cooperate. У статті Головного редактора Українського журналу дистанційного зондування Землі (УЖДЗЗ) член-кореспондента НАН України Михайла ПОПОВА висвітлюються аналітичні дані про результати публікаційної діяльності за 10 років (з березня 2014 року по березень 2024 року). Підкреслюється, що УЖДЗЗ на сьогодні є єдиним науковим фаховим журналом в Україні, який повністю присвячений висвітленню нових даних науки і практики в галузі дистанційного зондування Землі (ДЗЗ). УЖДЗЗ входить до кількох агрегаторів академічних текстів та індексується Index Copernicus International та Google Scholar. Редакційна колегія складається з науковців найвищого рангу, які є визнаними фахівцями у своїй галузі, понад третина складу Редакційної колегії – вчені з іноземних наукових установ та університетів. Щороку активну участь у рецензуванні статей приймають 25-30 докторів і кандидатів наук. Проведений редакцією моніторинг показує, що за десять років існування журналу 3 автори здобули ступінь доктора наук, 20 авторів захистили кандидатські дисертації, 6 авторів отримали ступінь доктора філософії, 9-ти авторам присуджені наукові звання. Ці дані підтверджують той факт, що УЖДЗЗ є надійною платформою для оприлюднення результатів дисертаційних досліджень. Цей номер, сороковий – є ювілейний. Запрошуємо фахівців у галузі дистанційного зондування та оброблення даних до співпраці.
