In March 2014, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Vadym LYALKO presented the first issue of the electronic edition of the Ukrainian Journal of Remote Sensing of the Earth / Ukrainian Journal of Remote Sensing. As of March 2024, I appreciate flipping through the files of the 40th issue of this specialized scientific periodical. Over the past ten years, the journal has gained authority among Ukrainian scientists and specialists in remote sensing. It has become a significant part of the national and international scientific research space. The journal is a widely recognized platform for presenting new ideas and approaches in remote sensing of the Earth and highlighting recent remote sensing methods and technologies used for solving problems related to natural resources, environmental, and other sustainable development. Among the authors of the articles are scientists from many countries of the world. Experienced and young scientist have a reliable and virtuous place to share their research results. The journal is included in the "List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine, in which the results of thesis for obtaining the scientific degrees of Doctor of Science, Candidate of Science and Doctor of Philosophy can be published" (order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated July 2, 2020, No. 886). I wish the Ukrainian Journal of Remote Sensing of the Earth to continue its traditions for the next ten years and achieve even greater professional heights!
