The information on cooperation between Ukrainian and Japanese scientists from the Scientific Centre for Aerospace Research of the Earth IGS NAS of Ukraine and the University of Tokyo to study the problems of the accident at Fukushima-1 area based on satellite data is given. As the results of the workshops, business meetings and discussions the decision by the Japanese side was to use the experience of CASRE IGS NASU and to conclude the contract on joint research. The basic results of the first phase of joint works relating to the classification of vegetation in the vicinity of the Fukushima-1 area, mapping of the risk of secondary emission of the adsorbed radionuclides due to vegetation fires in contaminated areas have been provided. Приведена информация о сотрудничестве украинских и японских ученых из Научного Центра аэрокосмических исследований Земли ИГН НАН Украины и Токийского университета для изучения проблем аварии на АЭС Фукусима-1 на основе спутниковой информации. Итогом проведенных семинаров, деловых встреч и дискуссий стало решение японской стороны использовать опыт ЦАКИЗ ИГН НАНУ и заключить контракт на проведение совместных исследований. Приведены основные результаты первого этапа работ по классификации растительного покрова в районе Фукусима-1 и картировании риска вторичного выброса адсорбированных растительностью радионуклидов в результате пожаров на загрязненных территориях. Наведено інформацію про співпрацю українських та японських вчених з Наукового Центру аерокосмічних досліджень Землі ІГН НАН України та Токійського університету для вивчення проблем аварії на АЕС Фукусіма-1 на основі супутникової інформації. Підсумком проведених семінарів, ділових зустрічей та дискусій стало рішення японської сторони використати досвід ЦАКДЗ ІГН НАНУ та заключити договір на проведення спільних досліджень. Наведено основні результати першого етапу робіт стосовно класифікації рослинного покриву в районі Фукусіма-1 та картування ризику вторинного викиду адсорбованих рослинністю радіонуклідів внаслідок пожеж на забруднених територіях.
