Пропонується підхід, що дозволяє ставити і розв'язувати в завершеному вигляді основні екстремальні задачі теорії наближень в абстрактних лінійних просторах. Цей підхід співпадає з традиційним у випадку наближення множин функцій, заданих та іитегровиих з квадратами відносно заданої σ-адитивноїміри пампоговидах в R m, m ≥ 1.
