Розроблено загальну методику локалізації власних значень матричних поліномів і функцій, що зводиться до розв'язування матричних рівнянь. Для широкого класу рівнянь встановлено теореми, що узагальнююсь відомі властивості рівняння Ляпунова. Запропоновано нову методику зображення розв'язків лінійних диференціальних та різницевих систем.
