Розглядається задача про розкладання миогочлеииих матриць над областю головних ідеалів у вигляді добутку множників менших степенів з наперед заданими характеристичними многочленами. Одержано необхідні, а при деяких обмеженнях і достатні умови існування шуканої факторизації.
