Знайдені оцінки швидкості збіжності і функції розподілу сумми геометричного числа різнорозподілених випадкових величин до функції спеціального вигляду у випадку, коли параметр геометричного розподілу прямує до нуля. Окремо розглядається задача, тісно пов’язана з геометричним сумуванням — дослідження збіжності неоднорідних рідіючих потоків.
