We prove that the variational equation, which corresponds to the formulated problem, implies both the dynamic (force and moment) equations of the rigid body and the free-boundary problem, which describes sloshing in terms of the Clebsch potentials. |

Варіаційне формулювання типу Бейтмена-Люка для задачі із вільною межею коливання рідини у баці узагальнено для вихорових течій та невідомих рухів баку, тобто для випадку, коли рухи баку та рідини повинні бути одночасно знайдені для фіксованого набору сил, які прикладено до заданих точок твердого тілу. Доведено, що варіаційне рівняння, яке випливає з цього формулювання, приводить як до динамічних (сил та моментів) рівнянь твердого тіла, так і крайову задачу із вільною межею, яка описує динаміку рідини у баці в термінах потенціалів Клєбша.   УДК 517.9 ПРО ВАРIАЦIЙНИЙ ФОРМАЛIЗМ ДЛЯ ЗАДАЧI ПРО ВИХОРОВI КОЛИВАННЯ РIДИНИ В АБСОЛЮТНО ТВЕРДОМУ БАЦI ЗА НЕВИЗНАЧЕНОСТI ЙОГО РУХУ Варiацiйне формулювання типу Бейтмена – Люка для задачi з вiльною межею коливання рiдини у бацi узагальнено для вихорових течiй та невiдомих рухiв бака, тобто для випадку, коли рухи бака та рiдини повиннi бути одночасно знайденi для фiксованого набору сил, якi прикладено до заданих точок твердого тiла. Доведено, що варiацiйне рiвняння, яке випливає з цього формулювання, приводить як до динамiчних (сил та моментiв) рiвнянь твердого тiла, так i до крайової задачi з вiльною межею, яка описує динамiку рiдини у бацi в термiнах потенцiалiв Клебша.
