Изучается область пространства, в которой сосредоточены независимые наблюдения случайных векторов, если размерность пространства и число наблюдений стремятся к бесконечности, а функция распределения компонент ξki наблюдаемых векторов не зависит от п и m и удовлетворяет условиям: 1) она непрерывна, симметрична: F (х) = 1 — F (—x); 2) ее хвосты — медленно меняющиеся функции. Вивчається область простору, де розташовані незалежні спостереження випадкових векторів, якщо розмірність простору і число спостережень необмежено зростають, а функція розподілу компонент ξki векторів, що спостерігаються, не залежить від п і m і задовольняє умови: 1) вона неперервна, симетрична: F (х) = 1 — F (—x); 2) її хвости — повільно змінні функції.
