Рассматривается критерий унитарности двустороннего преобразования Ватсона в пространстве L2 (R), позволяющий строить новые примеры интегральных преобразований с симметричными формулами обращения (известны лишь преобразования Фурье и Хартли). Приводятся некоторые новые примеры указанных преобразований, в частности, симметричные преобразования Хайкел я с суммой двух функций Бесселя в ядре, Харди с суммой функций Неймана и Струве и преобразование Нараина с суммой двух G-функций. Розглядається критерій унітарності двостороннього перетворення Ватсона в просторі L2 (R), щo дозволяє будувати нові приклади інтегральних перетворень з симетричними формулами обернення (відомі лише перетворення Фур’є і Харглі). Наводяться деякі нові приклади вказаних перетворень, зокрема, симетричні перетворення Ханкеля з сумою двох функцій Бесселя в ядрі, Харді з сумою функцій Неймана та Струве і перетворення Нараіна з сумою двох G-функцій.
