$\varepsilon$-entropy approach to the problem of the compression of information
A method of compressing images by coding is described, in which, at the first stage the value of the ɛ-entropy of a class of functions corresponding to sequences of images is computed, and at the second stage suboptimal probabilistic coding is used.

Описан подход к проблеме сжатия информации при кодировании изображений, когда на первом шаге вычисляется значение Е-энтропии класса функций, соответствующих последовательностям изображений, а на втором шаге применяется субоптимальное вероятностное кодирование. Описаний підхід до проблеми стиску інформації при кодуванні зображень, коли на першому кроці обчислюється значення є-ентропії класу функцій, які відповідають послідовностям зображень, а па другому кроці застосовується субоптимальне ймовірносне кодування.
