Description
Summary:The purpose of this work is to build analytical solutions for the problem of capacity optimization in the combined power system. A characteristic feature of the local system with renewable energy sources (RES) are random fluctuations in current capacity due to the changing nature of wind and solar power plants. The optimal choice of generation capacities and auxiliary balancing systems allows to reduce the uncontrolled component of generation. The object of the study are hybrid power systems that have the properties of the local network. The elements of the system are wind and solar power plants, energy storage facilities and reserve capacity designed to respond to changes in RES generation. Then power balancing can be considered as a superposition of random processes of generation and consumption. The classical method of Lagrange multipliers is chosen as the research method, and the peculiarity of this work is the representation of the solution through integrals from random functions. The applied energy balance model allows us to consider the possibility of energy accumulation and the use of reserve power in cases of insufficient generation. As a result of the research the analytical representation of optimality conditions for power system structure is constructed, including the installed capacity at a different configuration of generating and auxiliary equipment. The presence of optimal values for the proportion of solar and wind generation, backup generator, the dependence of imbalance on energy accumulation is established. The results can be presented through mathematical expectations and variances of the studied random variables. The obtained dependences are of a generalizing nature, and precise solutions for specific energy systems are possible only in some cases when the nature of the distribution of random processes of energy generation and consumption is known. This requires a preliminary study of energy sources, considering climatic features and energy supply requirements. Bibl. 22
