Vidnovluvana energetikaРезюме: | The aim of the study is to develop an approach to forming an appropriate scheme for connecting renewable energy sources (RES) to industrial power grids. An increase in the installed capacity of renewable energy sources at an enterprise can introduce significant uncertainty into its power system, worsen its reliability and energy efficiency, as the cost of electricity generated by renewable energy sources exceeds the permissible cost compared to traditional energy supply. This is due to the insufficient concentration of wind flows or solar radiation in the possible locations of RES on the enterprise's territory. In addition, there are certain technical and organizational problems that make it difficult to locate RES on territory that does not belong to the enterprise.
The article describes the characteristics of modern solar panels and wind turbines manufactured in Ukraine and abroad, and also considers the option of connecting a solar power plant to the power grid of an industrial enterprise using a grid inverter. It is noted that the cost of the device for energy conversion and ensuring its quality with the traditional approach of connecting RES to the enterprise's power grids will amount to almost 35% of the total cost. In order to differentiate industrial electricity consumers by the rigidity of their quality requirements, it is advisable to create two separate local grids: AC and DC. It is proposed to connect wind turbines without power quality units to the AC grid, and solar power plants and DC wind turbines to the DC grid. The proposed approach makes it possible to connect consumers of enterprises that do not require high-quality electricity to the AC grid, and DC consumers and frequency-controlled AC motors to the second grid. The paper considers the theoretical possibility of connecting renewable energy sources to the power grid of one of the industrial enterprises of Zaporizhzhia using the proposed approach. It is shown that, compared to the capacity of all inverters that would have to be used in the traditional connection of selected RES to the enterprise's grid, the capacity of the grid-wide inverter will be no more than 18%.
