The results of the work of the "Bioenergetics" section at the XXIV international conference "Renewable energy and energy efficiency in the XXI century" are summarized. An analysis of theses of the reports related to the areas of research in the field of bioenergy: gas-like biofuels, combustion of gaseous fuels, biofuels and alternative types of fuels, gasification of solid types of biofuel, charcoal and solid types of biomass, production of composite biofuels, legislative sub - the development of bioenergy, the development of new types of alternative energy, the use of biomass in the oil and gas industry. The current state of research on the current problems of bioenergy is analyzed based on the results of the conference materials, and the prospects for further research are given. Bibl. 25.
