Vidnovluvana energetikaРезюме: | The problem of development of wind hydrogen energy in Ukraine is the need to create an efficient hydrogen infrastructure - systems of production, accumulation, storage, transportation and conversion of hydrogen into energy of the required quality. The use of hydrogen technologies allows to optimize the wind energy system and achieve greater economic efficiency through the use of excess energy, reducing losses from forced shutdowns of wind power equipment, as it ensures the continuity of the generating system.
Equipment for hydrogen production is one of the main elements of wind hydrogen complexes, the successful choice of which ensures high energy and economic efficiency of power systems. The results of the study of technical characteristics and technological parameters of hydrogen production plants show that the most acceptable for solving problems in combination with wind power plants are currently electrolysis plants, in which hydrogen is obtained by the method of water decomposition. Prospects for the production and use of "green" hydrogen have contributed to the appearance of new techniques and technologies for electrolytic decomposition of water, the choice of which will help in the design and construction of wind hydrogen farms. Due to the sufficient simplicity and reliability of electrolytic hydrogen production, high purity of hydrogen and oxygen produced, high resource installations and the ability to automate the process of water electrolysis, the use of modern technical means will increase energy and economic efficiency of power systems.
The use of hydrogen as a universal fuel, which can replace oil and natural gas, will help reduce Ukraine's dependence on supplier countries. Large-scale production of electrolytic hydrogen using offshore wind energy is particularly attractive. The development of wind hydrogen energy will change the structure of the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine by increasing wind energy, increasing the stability of wind power equipment, efficiency and reliability of electricity supply, and will have a positive impact on the environment.
