Zusammenfassung:Analysis of geothermal energy sector in Ukraine was held and itwas determined four base types of heat pumps, which use geothermalenergy and some of their constructional differences.Methodology for their analysis was developed by using themethod of paired comparisons and were established criterionsthat taking into account technical parameters of the pumpsnamely: a thermal capacity of the pump, unit cost per 1 kWh ofproduced heat, thermal energy conversation efficiency, temperaturerange for the efficient performance of the heat pump, heatpump’s operational lifetime. The base heat pump types analysiswas held and their integral score was determined. The highestthe integral score of 8,74 was assigned to the water-to-water heatpumps and the lowest score of 7,49 was gained by the earth-to-airheat pumps.It was proposed to locate investments in the field of geothermalenergy and water-to-water heat pumps with thermal energy conversationefficiency 5, and earth-to-water heat pumps with thermalenergy conversation efficiency 4.
