Резюме:Solar energy is one of the advanced and most widespread types of renewable energy sources, which is developing at a rapid pace. In the process of this development, certain standards and approaches to the calculation and formation of the configuration of solar power plants are being formed. One of these approaches is the formation of an array of photovoltaic modules, the total power of which is greater than the total power of the inverters. The article considered the main reasons for applying the approach of overloading inverters with generating units in photovoltaic systems. The PVsyst software environment was used to simulate the production of electrical energy for solar power plants with an increased installed capacity of photomodules and equal inverter capacity for a comparative assessment of the feasibility of using such an approach. The payback period of additional investments, which are necessary to achieve conformity between the total power of the array of photovoltaic modules and the power of inverters, is determined by using technical and economic calculation. All results were visually demonstrated by constructing two-dimensional and three-dimensional dependences.
