Vidnovluvana energetika| Summary: | The work is dedicated to solving the urgent problem of increasing the technical and economic efficiency of heat pumps that use low-potential heat of the environment during the winter period of operation with unstable parameters of the outdoor air temperature. In this work, the efficiency of the refrigeration system (technological equipment and air conditioning system) operating at the Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company was analyzed, which consists of refrigeration systems with the Free cooling function and a heat pump. An applied methodology for the complex application of Free cooling and heat pump technologies has been developed based on a scientifically based algorithm for the transition between technologies depending on the cost of energy carriers. It is known that the mode of operation of refrigerating machines and the application of the Free cooling system are determined by the temperature of the external environment. And the mode of operation of the heat pump is limited by the temperature schedule of the heating system. It has been proven that when the outside temperature is below -5C, the temperature in the heat network is equal to or exceeds the maximum temperature that the heat pump can produce and, accordingly, the efficiency of heat utilization is lost. Researched statistical data on the operation of the equipment, the relationship between the cost of electricity and natural gas, and determined the limits of the economic profitability of the transition between these technologies. On the basis of the obtained results, a table of the efficiency of the Free cooling and heat pump technologies was compiled, depending on the tariffs for electricity and natural gas for the period of 120 days of the winter period of operation of the systems. Further research on modeling the possibility of using various types of compressor equipment with the Free cooling system for obtaining cold in order to increase the overall energy efficiency of obtaining industrial cold has a perspective. |
