obtaining ammonia, which can replace natural gas, will have an additional positive impact on the environment and, accordingly, on the level of economic development.
A block diagram of an energy complex using wind energy as a primary energy resource for obtaining hydrogen and ammonia is presented, its main components are considered. For electrolysis plants of various capacities, which are promising for solving local or regional domestic needs for green ammonia, the indicators of the necessary resource base and the obtained products, as well as promising directions of use, have been determined.
The use of wind-hydrogen complexes for the production of ammonia in Ukraine has sufficient technical and technological support for each of the blocks of the energy complex, except for the lack of industrial production of modern electrolysis plants. The domestic ammonia infrastructure is at a high level - the system of production, storage, transportation and use.
The presented research results are proposed for use as indicative initial data in the development of relevant projects, taking into account the conditions of the territorial location and the local resource and energy base, etc. The operation of wind-hydrogen complexes for the production of ammonia will allow to eliminate the negative consequences of the use of natural gas for the production of ammonia both in the ecological and political spheres, as well as to reduce the cost of ammonia, which is used as a fertilizer and in various technological agro-industrial processes, due to the reduction of logistical costs.
