Description
Summary:The article considers the possibilities of using in-situ technologies of biomethanation of hydrogen to optimize and increase the output of biomethane, as well as the biological purification of biogas from carbon dioxide. The key parameters and features of these technologies are described, such as hydrogenotrophic methanogenesis, partial pressure of hydrogen, solubility of hydrogen, temperature and pH of the medium. It is shown that the use of hydrogenotrophic methanogenic archaea allows increasing the efficiency of biogas purification and reducing the energy and chemical costs of the process. The article is devoted to the analysis of prospects for the development of in-situ technologies to improve the quality of biogas, ensuring sustainable development and compliance with EU energy goals.
