Description
Summary:The article examines the ex-situ hydrogen biomethanation process, which efficiently transforms CO₂ and H₂ into methane with the involvement of methanogenic microorganisms. Key factors affecting process efficiency are analyzed, such as the gas ratio, temperature, pH of the environment, and the solubility of substrates. Economic aspects are also considered, specifically the costs of implementing the technology and its potential to reduce energy resource expenditures. The prospects of using this technology to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and produce clean biomethane are outlined, which is significant for the sustainable development of renewable energy sources and energy independence.
