Zusammenfassung:Fossil fuels are mainly used for hydrogen production. With the development of novel technologies, it is possible to use biomass for hydrogen production, which contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the solution of environmental problems in the energy processing of waste to obtain renewable gases. The article is devoted to the issue of determining the potential of biohydrogen from agricultural waste in territorial communities in the context of the country's decentralization. The method of obtaining biohydrogen is steam-oxygen gasification of fuel granules with subsequent separation of hydrogen from synthesis gas. The raw materials for obtaining biohydrogen are pellets or briquettes from straw, stem mass and husks of agricultural crops. The corn, wheat, sunflower, barley, rapeseed and soybean are mainly cultivated in Ukraine. The volume of sunflower husks generated is 2.43 million tons, straw — 33.88 million tons, stalks — 60.96 million tons, while pellet production may reach 72.1 million tons. A method for estimating the potential of biohydrogen from agricultural waste has been developed, and the theoretical potential of biohydrogen for Ukraine and its regions has been determined. The annual theoretical potential of biohydrogen from agricultural waste from agricultural activities, taking into account the trends in the use of fuel pellets in heat supply, can reach 24.73 billion m3. Given the lack of statistical data, it is proposed to use Sibson spatial interpolation to assess biomass resources in territorial communities and, based on a set of known data for the regions, to predict specific indicators of gross harvest of agricultural crops when transitioning to a smaller-scale territorial division of the country. To calculate the potential of fuel pellets in territorial communities, in contrast to the methodology for calculating the potential of solid biofuels in the regions of the country, the location of sunflower seed processing plants was taken into account. This allowed us to determine the theoretical and technically achievable potential of biohydrogen derived from agricultural waste generated in territorial communities. The practical significance of the results obtained is that they are necessary for creating an interactive map of the territorial distribution of green hydrogen resources, identifying the locations for potential green hydrogen energy projects, selecting pilot projects and making management decisions at the local level.
