Vidnovluvana energetika| Резюме: | Modeling the Response of the Power Grid to Frequency Deviations in a Hybrid Energy Network Combining Conventional Generation and Renewable Energy Sources (RES) via the Addition of a variable-parameter virtual BESS was performed.  The analytics cover stability assessment, extended frequency pro-file analysis, RoCoF (Rate of Change of Frequency), spectral characteristics, and are also used to study the behavior of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and the role of RES in frequency regulation within the IPG, including performance during islanded operation. The need for implementing virtual machine (VSM) technologies to provide synthetic inertia and damping to effectively smooth high-risk disturbances, as well as to combat daily low-level turbulence, is justified. The simulation results and analysis show that under the considered scenario, the integrated power system with a high share of RES demonstrates an acceptable margin of “dynamic stability”. The results of the study can be applied in real time for monitoring, as well as in the optimization processes of network or autonomous microgrid configurations. |
